The Friends of Dard Hunter, a non-profit organisation run by handmade papermakers, for handmade papermakers and paper enthusiasts will be holding their first UK get together this year.

The weekend event will involve talks and demos on diverse topics such as pulp sculpting, making paper from garden plants, and Japanese papermaking plus a keepsake exchange and a papermaking masterclass.

This event will appeal to hobbyist papermakers, pulp and papermaking artists, and educators - in fact, this is for anyone interested in making paper by hand.

There will be many opportunities to socialise and share ideas throughout the gathering which will finish on Sunday morning with a ‘Show and Tell’ gathering which will enable attendees to make further connections and maybe sell a few pieces of their work.
