Situated between the mountains and the ocean, Santa Barbara is a city famous for its scenic beauty and Mediterranean climate. Friends will stay at the Old Mission, one of the jewels of the city founded by Spanish Franciscans in 1786. This retreat centre was reserved two years in advance so that Friends can enjoy a room and three meals for less than $100 per day. Just four blocks away is Jill Littlewood's studio with a Reina beater, drying box, and press. Lecture topics, workshops and demonstrations will be driven by attendees. "Everyone Has Something to Give" is the theme, so come with something to share.
